This past week, I had the pleasure of taking a trip to London, England for a whole five days! If any of you know anything about me at all, you know that I have a small (and by small, I mean extremely large) obsession with London and England in general. So basically, this trip was AMAZING for me! I took 753 photos during my trip (ridiculous, I know...but I couldn't help it). I have so much to say, but I'm only going to cover the highlights. :)
Tower Bridge Tower Bridge: one of the most iconic and recognizable tourist attractions in London. I must say that whenever I think of London, I think of this. I got to see this bridge multiple times and walk across it. It was a beautiful bridge but I had no idea that part of the bridge was blue, random, but true. Either way, it was great! |
Westminster Abbey Visiting Westminster Abbey was one of the best experiences of my life. In all honesty, I didn't know how intense I would feel after visiting there. When entering Westminster Abbey, visitors receive a map and audio tour of the Abbey. Spending an hour and a half walking inside this beautiful building was extremely humbling. The inside is gorgeous, although, sadly, I couldn't take any photos. I encourage you, if you are ever in London, the tour of Westminster Abbey is a MUST. |
| Harry Potter Studio Tour The Harry Potter Studio Tour was phenomenal, especially for myself, as a crazy Harry Potter fan. The whole time I was there, I couldn't help but think about how they actually used all the sets and props that were there. It was amazing, I felt like I was in the movie! LOVED IT! |
Les Misérables Do you hear the people sing? I did! As I'm assuming all of you know, I'm obsessed with musicals. Love 'em, all of 'em. Les Misérables is by far one of my favorites although I had never seen it until this past trip in London. I have read the book, own both movies (the new one and the concert version), and am obsessed with the music! Seeing it in London was amazing! I was lucky enough to sit in the second row which in itself was phenomenal. When they were singing, they would point at us and sing directly in our faces. The music was amazing live and I was extremely satisfied with the show as a whole. I now understand why it's the World's longest running musical! DEFINITELY WORTH IT! :) |
Visiting London was a great experience overall. I cannot wait to go back, I definitely will! :D
