After Rome, it was time for Greece! When we landed at the airport, I didn't really know what to expect considering we were standing in a one room airport in the middle of nowhere. Once we snagged a taxi (not that hard when there's a whopping 12 people at the airport), we were on our way to our hotel. Once we were settled, we went exploring the island of Milos, specifically the town of Adamas. Here are some pictures of the island's beauty. :)
We spent an entire week in Milos which was perfect because it was an extremely relaxing "vacation." We spent the first few days walking around just exploring the island, we then met a woman who owns a store in Adamas. She offered to drive us to a beach that wasn't far. After she dropped us off, we took the time to walk to another beach that was about 2 kilometers away. It took us a long time because we were walking on the rocks that make up the shoreline of Milos. I also fell during this five hour walk of ours resulting in some nice cuts down my leg (If you're easily grossed out...feel free to skip the next pictures).
We then decided that it would be fun to rent 4-wheelers (quads as everyone else calls them) and drive around the island. We did this for two days and here is a little slideshow of our adventures! :)

Overall, our trip was great! It was a week full of sun, beautiful scenery, and Greek food!
Don't worry, there's a whole new blog about Greek food! :)
